Apply Now works with businesses and peer-to-peer and marketplace platforms to verify identities and conduct background checks quickly and at scale. We power some of the largest sharing economy platforms today, partnering with trust and safety teams to proactively vet new members and prevent unsafe interactions before they occur.

Inflection is looking for a Sales leader to spearhead sales and go to market efforts for our ID Trust and Safety solutions. The ideal candidate has led go to market / sales efforts for other early stage products in an entrepreneurial setting. The Account Executive will be integral in our growth plan and in acquiring new customers.

The Account Executive will…

  • Collaborate with VP of Trust & Safety Solutions on story telling, value proposition, and Go-To-Market plans for scaling our solutions across key P2P markets and devising strategies to penetrate other verticals-Drive pipeline, identify opportunities and establish rapport with prospective customers
  • Customer prospecting, pipeline development and market sizing, and ability to work with multiple customer stakeholders to win a deal
  • Negotiate and close deals, and work the details of a contract: you’re not (necessarily) an attorney, but you know what makes for a solid agreement, can assess points of risk and highlight when we need to bring in legal counsel
  • Work with our legal team to communicate compliance policies to customers, and ensure they’re being followed
  • Work with our iD product team to help set up customers from pilot to production
  • Proactively manage and update Salesforce CRM leads and pipeline
  • Customer success: Ensure a superb customer experience post sale through providing AE support

The ideal candidate brings to the table…

  • 3-5 years of sales or business development experience in a tech company
  • A go-getter attitude and enthusiasm to learn
  • A track record of success solution selling in new markets with demonstrated success to acquire new customers
  • Understanding and comfort with communicating with customers regarding technical implementations
  • Storytelling talent: the ability to communicate value proposition via solution selling
  • A passion for #winning
  • The ability to identify many possible business opportunities, prioritize them, and go after them full steam
  • The perseverance to sweat a contract from the high-level goals to the last detail
  • Hands-on experience acquiring customers, or working in, the sharing economy, P2P, or on-demand marketplace industries is a huge plus (an existing network in this space is icing on the cake)
