HR Specialist

Full Time – Omaha, NE

Inflection hires and empowers top talent in the Omaha area and is seeking an HR Specialist to foster a thriving culture, assist people operations, talent acquisition initiatives and find opportunities to improve upon the systems and processes already in place. This role is perfect for a hands-on, “full stack” thinker and doer, someone who enjoys everything from setting up new programs to rolling up their sleeves to administer payroll processing, and everything in between.  
 
The precise mix of responsibilities can be customized to a certain extent, based on the ideal candidate’s interests and strengths, but you can expect to…

  • Assist to improve, support and lead programs such as our performance review process, learning and development programs, employee communications

  • Create and maintain a range of communications touch points, including employee intranet, Slack communications, email, events and meetings

  • Maintain and support HRIS and other systems, including employee intranet, performance management system

  • Partner with accounting to complete administration of hourly payrolling processing, sales compensation and incentive pay

  • Perform HR process audits and analysis

  • Assist with employee relations and general HR questions

  • Assist in planning and supporting team events in partnership with Inflection’s Operations Team

  • Assist leadership with company guidelines and frameworks, suggesting and implementing improvements as opportunities present themselves

  • Assist with employee perks programs, from assessment to analysis and recommendations

  • Provide talent acquisition support

 
Bring to the table the following:

  • 3+ years HR experience

  • Proficiency with SaaS based HR and office systems: MS Word / Excel / Powerpoint, Google applications, applicant tracking systems, performance management systems, HRIS

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills: demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, management, vendors, customers and community

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Outstanding judgement, ethics and EQ: ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality and discretion

  • Drive and attention to detail: strong initiative and high level of dependability and follow-through, ability to multi-task and operate in a changing environment

  • High energy, positive attitude, creative, innovative, resourceful and get-it-done results- oriented

  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external networking relationships

  • Strength in working collaboratively with a high-energy team to achieve common goals

  • PHR or SHRM certification is a plus, but not a requirement
