Security Manager

Full Time – omaha, NE

Inflection's business is growing and evolving, and that means our security needs are growing and evolving too. We're looking for an adaptable security leader to help mature our security program, from appsec to opsec and everything in between.


  • Designing, driving, and measuring KPIs for security across the organization
  • Working cross-functionally with IT, Engineering, and DevOps to drive common security initiatives
  • Working in a player/coach role, with a mixture of hands-on work and management/mentorship responsibilities for a growing team
  • Educating the wider Inflection team on security best practices
  • Providing systems design and architectural input to Engineering to ensure that application security requirements are met
  • Maintaining Inflection's information security policies, procedures, and certifications (PCI-DSS, SOC 2)


  • You've been in information security for at least the last 5 years
  • You've previously been in an information security role that involved leading or managing a team
  • You have exceptional communication skills and are equally comfortable presenting in front of peers or senior leadership
  • You consider yourself to be a security generalist: not only can you pry under the hood of our application code, but you've also run vulnerability scans to verify patch implementation
  • Experience with leading security initiatives and teams within a variety of company sizes and industries
  • You've been part of an external security audit before, whether under the PCI, ISO, SOC, or NIST frameworks
  • Able to travel for work 2-3 times per year
