Senior Product Manager, Data

Inflection’s fastest growing product, GoodHire, is an award-winning pre-employment background checking service that’s quickly grown to serve over 80,000 businesses across the US. We’re growing so fast, in fact, that we need to hire an additional Senior Product Manager to help us keep up with the demands of our prospects and customers!

Data is at the core of everything we do. Today, we aggregate, cleanse, tag, and search billions of people records from thousands of sources to power our background screening products. We also partner with and build API integrations with dozens of vendors to supplement our in-house data. But our work is far from done. We need a Product leader who is passionate about data and looking to guide our Data Engineering team’s roadmap as we build innovative new data products and solutions for the GoodHire business.   • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, synthesize and understand market requirements and define features for the product roadmap

  • Manage the full lifecycle of a product features from business requirements to product release including: concept, scope, specifications, prioritization, design, implementation, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, deployment, maintenance, and support

  • Lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment, including Engineers, Designers, Marketers, Analysts, Salespeople, Customer Success Managers, and Customer Support Agents to plan and launch projects on time, on budget, and on specification

  • Balance product requirements and market impact against time to market and project risksIncorporate customer and business partner feedback into future product requirements

  • Identify necessary reports, metrics, and analysis to measure the effectiveness and validate the success of completed projects

  • BS/BA (Engineering, Business, Statistics, or other relevant degree - technical or analytical) - or equivalent work experience in a highly technical work environment

  • MBA a plus.5+ years Product Management experience, preferably in a B2B internet company, with a focus on data products

  • Demonstrated experience developing use case requirements and translating them into product specifications

  • Database analytics experience using SQL and/or MongoDB

  • Strong project management skills: organized, attention to detail, and able to manage multiple time-sensitive projects
